We are relentless

The reason we’re here at BioCryst—from those of us in the field or behind the scenes in our labs, to those in our home offices and around the world—is because we’ve proven our ability to get the right treatments into the hands of the right patients who need them most.

Physician Request for Medical Information

If you have a medical question about any of our medicines that are currently approved or in development, or about our company, or would like to speak with a medical science liaison, please submit your request below. This service is intended for healthcare providers only. Patients and caregivers should consult with their healthcare provider.

An option when patients with rare disease have none

We understand there are seriously ill patients who aren’t eligible for available clinical trials and don’t have options for alternative therapies. In these circumstances, BioCryst will consider providing requesting physicians with access to an investigational medicine to treat an individual patient outside of the clinical trial. Certain conditions apply. Learn about our expanded access and compassionate use programs >>

Keeping clinical trial data transparent and private

As a patient-driven biotech company, our clinical research is critical for the development of medicines for rare disease. We recognize the importance of sharing clinical trial data to advance science in order to serve the patients who use our medicines and the providers who prescribe them. We provide clinical trial data in a way that is consistent with patient privacy and data integrity and with applicable laws and regulations.

BioCryst registers clinical trial information and publishes summary results, regardless of outcome, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on public registries including Clinicaltrials.gov and EU Clinical Trials Register. BioCryst encourages and seeks publication of registered clinical trial results in peer-reviewed publications in a manner that ensures scientific accuracy and reflects applicable industry standards.
